It was dark tonight... Oddly darker then usual. Deilos used to be so afraid of the dark. Everything such an infinite creature could hide. But now he was afraid of being lonely like he was right now. "We're all friends here. Like a huge family of mismatched cats ya know?" Deilos shook his head and blinked. He had gone so long without sleep, his dreams were coming into his waking hours. But he wanted to be here when his kinda brother came back. When Alkaios came back. At first he didn't believe it and sat at the entrance to the Empire wagging his tail like an eagerly waiting pup. But after a week of waiting, his tail simply flopped to his side

Deilos and Alkaios
Deilos peeked out of his hiding spot watching the deer move about eating the plains grass. He twitched his ears and tilted his head to the side. The largest male deer hadn’t caught his rusty mountain scent yet. Deilos ducked into the tall grass watching a particularly old and weak deer move from the herd. He chirruped quietly making it a bit more skittish and return to the herd again. After that raid on the Lightning Empire, the prey animals were more likely to hide in their dens away from the cats and not come out. Deilos understood their pain. He hated coming out of his den especially if there were lions. But if he could show that not
